Default transaxles and pulling boats

so i have 2 questions for the wonderful people of the legacy forum
do many of you have hitches? im looking into getting one as my best friend just bought a boat (15' aluminum bass boat) and i am looking into possible getting a hitch as it would be better to take my leggy as opposed to his van most the time... i am wondering how they look, if they are pretty well hidden most the time (as in when you dont have the actual hitch installed, what prices usually look like and if they make it where you cant have a big exhaust. also are they removable? im sure it wouldnt be a week to week removal but do they come off or are they permanently fixed to the frame?

next is about draining the fluid in my transaxle, not the transmission pan, i mean the front diff. is there a plug for it? i have looked before but not really specifically for the plug, mostly for the pan plug. i need to drain it and put gear oil in it as right now it has transmission fluid in it (unless im wrong and it is fine, in which case please tell me!)

any help is VERY much appreciated. Thank you all for always being helpful with this kinda stuff
