Question Just Moved to Belgium

Hey guys I need some help. I've been looking around and I'm somewhat confused, considering I am a noob to the forum scene and Subaru scene.
But I am more than willing to learn.

So Apparently I need to get a front and rear fog lights here in Europe. I have 2013 WRX base model and would like to install the kit myself. I am still waiting for my car to arrive but I am trying to get a head start on this...

Any recommendations and tips to purchase or install the front and rear fog lights?

Helpfully advice will be appreciated and ANYTHING else will be ignored.

Thanks

Just ordered this from AVO JDM...

Sub-Total: $125.32
Table Rate (Best Way): $26.88
Total: $152.20

I have been wanting to pick this up for some time now, but I was not willing to pay 200 bucks for a small little light. 150 is still a lot to pay, but much better than 200! I hope this kit comes with everything i need.

I just got mine in the mail today and hooked it all up.

I know each state and city has different laws, but has anybody actually gotten pulled over for running one of these?

I am unaware of any state in the US that makes running a rear fog light illegal as long as it's installed correctly and used only in adverse weather conditions. Now, if you hook up some kind of flashing modulator to your rear fog that makes it flash when you hit the brakes, you most definitely will encounter legal issues.

Plenty of cars have stock rear fog lights, you shouldn't get any trouble.

I appreciate the info.

Here is a quick pic of the finished product. (JDM) Safety first, right?!

How are some of you guys wiring it up on the 2011+ when it comes to an actual fog light?

Splicing into harness for front or independent?

I know it's not the correct way, but I just tapped into the running lights.

I was lucky enough to find a good condition used one on craigslist for $120. Installed it last week by myself. Cut the rear mock vent with a razor blade, disconnected the driver's side rear bumper enough to get my hand through, then fished the harness to the trunk and wired it to the taillights. I know what it's supposed to be used for but I like it on with my lights. :P

I used the ignition from my stereo so if the car is off the light is off. Wired it through a relay that pulls the 12v from the battery (stereo lead)
