well here is the same thing but for $173.22 so I guess it's catching on buddy!
http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.php?products_id=202
it's in Yen so that comes out to $142.63 + Shipping to USA $30.59 = $173.22 for a grand total savings of $27.77 over www.rallysportdirect.com/STI-...n-WRX-STI-2011

Ordering it today and getting it this week, you should buy. If you want to wait for it to pass customs and get shipped to you...save 10%.

Bought the full light kit from rallysportdirect. Shipped quick.

FYI guys, you can install without removing bumper. Was simple.

1. Backed car into garage to work in warmth.
2. Underneath rear bumper you will see two push tabs holding bumper cover on, popped them off.
3. Was able to slide hands in between bumper cover and body (pulling cover with other hand away from car a little)....was able to pop out the black mesh filler piece by pushing the tabs out left to right on the bottom of piece through back of bumper cover.
4. Took apart trunk to locate plugged hole near bottom of drivers tail lamp area.
5. Cut mesh filler piece according to marks I made from mocking light up to the center piece.
6. Installed light and mesh filler pieces according to OP's tips on page 3.
7. For wiring, now back to trunk, I took the plug out(push out from interior and it will drop to ground by exhaust) I fished a thin 2' length of string through hole down to ground. Tied string around plug on supplied wire harness and pulled it up through the hole until supplied hole plug came into place.
8. Back underneath car, clipped wire harness (using clips already attached to harness) to bottom of bumper beam, you will see where to clip to once underneath car.
9. I tapped my wire harness into my rear parking lights so when ever lights are on, rear fog is on. Cut plug off harness and spliced, soldered into factory wires.
10. Had girlfriend turn on lights to test, all works great. Put everything in trunk back together, put push tabs back on bottom of bumper cover. All set to go and looks great.

Hope this may help any of you. Saves some time from removing full bumper cover.

The stealer says that the switch is not available, (closed minded dealers) with a little cross reference. I think we can get the part number. It may help if I tell you that it comes as part of this accessories kit, here is the kit number: SOA635089 And also I found out that it's a OEM accessory installed at the port and by the stealer. If you order your Subie with fog lights from Japan the fog light switch will be in the stalk with the headlights and parking lights.

This is the Stealer from California that also sells the JDM rear foglight kit as well but he charges $20 more than rallysport.com

That little slot looks kinda empty now, at the bottom of the bumper! The Europeans /EDM /JDM want their cars to look like ours and we want our cars to look like theirs! huh?

I see that the new Subiz are meant to be driven in reverse. WhyTF would you need a fog light in the rear? Ow well. I guess it looks cool.

seeing how it seems you haven't been reading for the past 7 pages... Rear fog light, a light for OTHERS to see you in the fog, not to drive in reverse....... so they don't rear end you

Well put my friend.
I drive 52 miles each way from and to work, and let me tell you the accidents I have seen and the near misses of another driver smashing into me. This little light is a life saver especially when it's snowing or raining not just for "FOG"
The problem is that a lot of people leave them on and there is:
NO FOG
NO RAIN
NO SNOW
So I can understand your frustration, But it is an accident deterrent, at least for me it has worked well in preventing people from REAR ending me in really bad weather when you have to be out on the road.

Can someone point out what kind of Subie is this? Notice the Rear fog light. It looks like a Forester lowered.
