Can someone point out what kind of Subie is this? Notice the Rear fog light. It looks like a Forester lowered.

Okay making a little progress with locating the switch on this Impreza. I found out that the switch is part of these kits:
SOA635090 - w/ Beige switch Bezel
SOA635089 - w/ Black switch Bezel
I hope this helps out in search for this part number. It's a port installed option when you ADD the fog lights to the car.

Just throwing this out there but I wonder if having the ability to turn on the FRONT fogs without the headlights being can be added through changes to the BIU codes. I know I've seen a pic of an EDM GR having their lights work this way and the owner said he didn't mod it to do that.

I need to get the part number for the fog light switch that goes in this location. Can anyone help? This is the side dash panel where if you ordered your fog lights for a car already in the dealers lot they would ADD the fog light switch here in this location, mine is the limited version and comes with the switch in the turn signal STALK on the LEFT to the steering wheel. I want to use that switch to turn the STi REAR FOG LIGHT "ON" or "OFF" that I installed on my REAR bottom apron of the 2012 Impreza 2.0i Sport Limited 5 Door wagon.

Yeah, I am not getting any help here, I am going to try a Dealer in White Plains, NY and see if they can help me out. If someone here had a ADD ON fog light kit, they can give me the part number for the switch alone and I can get it that way. Anyone PLEASE HELP us out.

I went to my dealer's part dept and we couldn't get an image to determine if the following is the switch or button:

$106 for a button seems crazy, but I could see the switch for the stalk costing that much. If the button comes with the parts that help it to light up and the wiring for the fog lights (which is basically what his worded parts breakdown said) then maybe the price makes sense.

That may be the entire switch stalk assembly with the wiring, I can't see it being just the switch by itself, but then again it says " SW TURN DI" under the description section.

yup! I believe that is for the stalk assembly switch, it says "SW TURN DI" on the description section. The one for the dash should be a different part number. Subaru has weird part numbers too.

Yeah, then Subaru isn't giving that part number out since the parts guy is my buddy and looked in every breakdown he could. Does it HAVE to be just the 2012 Impreza button? Have you measured it? Is it specifically sized?

I think the Forester and the legacy also use the same switch, I am not 100% sure, Also in the European Market and JDM market they also use the same switch, Canada as well. So it should not be that difficult to get it from someone here on the forums.

Or if someone has the switch on their car , they can get it from the back plastic mounting of the switch, it should also have the part number on the bezel as well.

This is where the OEM fog light switch is located on the limited.

Looks like it's the part number for the stalk switch, according to this seller:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1925724

For any Subaru stalk, fairly generic. Back to square one, sir.

Have you tried calling Subaru?

Edit:

Also, what does the 2012 Impreza manual say about the fog light switch/button for those that didn't get the Limited? There should be a picture of the fog light switch/button as optional.

Edit:

Owner's Manual is honeybadger about a fog light button and not showing a dang thing.

The Manual says that is part of the BEZEL kit and it only comes in BLACK or BEIGE, I posted the pictures on my first thread. See post #181 of this thread.

How much does the kit cost? Cheaper than the fog light switch that mounts on the stalk? Isn't the bezel kit just the housing the holds the buttons, which is why it's different colors?
