Default NE1 else getting tons of road noise?

It seems like it's either coming from the rear wheels or from the wing at highway speed.

Thinking of Dynamat-ing the trunk, any thoughts?

Try the roof. See my post for sound deadening the roof.

I don't have a wing, but I too had a lot of road noise coming from the back. I had already done the sides of the trunk and trunk lid for my subwoofer's sake, but still had a lot of tire noise coming through. Finally, I applied generous dampening to the inside of the wheel wells/shock towers and the inside of the spare tire well. Made a huge reduction in noise...

Do you have stock tires?

Lightbulb On further listening...

...I've figured the noise to be the stock tires on older Massachusetts highways. Goes away on newer paved road surfaces.

So what are my options? I'm thinking that I should do the trunk.
Hopefully/maybe just the floor and wheel well humps?

After dumping off my'00 outback wagon & got the WRX I did notice one thing...
the WRX is thin I don't know if it is the glass or metal or both...
I can now hear other vehicals with the windows UP...
I'ld Dynamat a few strips in the doors x 4 the trunk here & there... and any other interior parts that seem thin/sound tinny
I havent pealed up the carpet yet so I don't know how thick it the deadning is below...
Hey it's a sports car that stuff adds weight
