Do you mean that the car has a Cobb downpipe and a borla catback? A turboback exhaust is a full system all the way from the turbo to the back of the car, including the downpipe and the catback section of the exhaust. So if you say that your car has a Cobb turboback exhaust that would imply that your whole exhaust is Cobb.

Google Subaru WRX exhaust diagram and it is easier to visualize.

My 02 WRX has similar mods (turboback exhaust and Cobb intake, although my exhaust is catless, meaning there are no catylitic converters in the downpipe) , along with a bigger turbo (blouch 16g), a better top mount intercooler (brand unknown), 1000cc fuel injectors, a manual boost controller, an hks blow off valve (not necessary but makes cool noises), and a turbo timer.

Also, think about investing in new brakes, especially if you are going to go to the track. I got Stoptech street performance slotted rotors and Stoptech street performance pads and they are amazing

Good luck with the car!

I'm totally new to this, but if the tune is unkown I'd probably get some dyno time and see if anything can be tweaked, if there is an awd dyno in your area.
