Default 02-03 OEM rear struts on 04 sti?

okay, so it's in the middle of the school year and i'm a broke mofo. My rear dspec struts blew out, and I am in desperate need of rear struts, and i can get a set of wrx oem ones for practically nothing, which will keep my car limping along for another 5 months. I wanted to know, do they fit with the sti top hats, sti springs, and scooby 921 spacers?

**I am talking about OEM struts, not aftermarket struts made for the 02-03wrx. ** I did a search and found some models of wrx struts that work with my setup, but I could not find if the actual factory OEM struts worked or not.

Yep, but don't push too hard. There is a difference in the f/r damping with what you propose. It could give you some nasty surprises at the limit.

You can use the Struts, yes...but if you're going to be using your present 04+ Springs...you must use 04+ Rear Top Hats.

Front Top Hats are the same, 02-07.
Rear Top Hats are 02-03, then 04-07. It's a Spring thing...so you match the Top Hats to the Spring.
