Default Help me price my project (How much would you ask)

I have a Red 99 Legacy GT with a fully built stroker motor and turbo kit installed with an STI 6 speed and 4 pots ready to go in. It just needs coilovers and STI wheels/tires to be completed. My wife and I just signed papers to build a house and I have two kids. It will be at least a year before I will have the money to buy suspension and wheels and I can't stand to have the project lurking over me any more. I'd much rather see it go to a good home where it we be completed and run for all its worth

Here are the facts:

1999 Legacy GT Red
a little over 90k miles on the chassis

Engine Work:

EJ22t closed deck motor bored .020 over and decked a few thousandths
Wiseco Forged Hybrid Overbore Pistons - K602M975 - 8.5:1
Pauter Phase I Forged Rods - SUB-230-510-1315F
Phase I EJ25 Crank - Balanced and shot peened
Shortblock machine work and assembly done by Jim Justice of Justice Performance Engines - http://www.justiceracingengines.com/index.php

EJ25 DOHC Phase I heads
TWE Stage 3 DOHC Race Cams - http://www.techworkseng.com/Products...ngine_Cams.htm
TWE Shim Under Bucket Conversion
Supertech Dual Coil Valve Springs - SIVN-1016
Supertech Titanium Retainers w\ seats - SPR-TS1015/SU2
Valves Freshly Lapped
Head surface was cut a few thousands to eleminate uneven seal (Justice Racing)

All assembled and installed in the car with new water and oil pumps.

720cc Side Feed Injectors
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
NGK Iridium IX Plugs

Greddy Emanage Ultimate
Greddy Profec E-01 EBC w\ Greddy MAP Sensor
NGK Powerdex AFX Wideband
STRi Smoked Digital Oil Pressur Gauge

Vishnu Stage 3 Intercooled Turbo Kit
T3/T4 - 50 trim
Top Mount Intercooler w\ all necessary piping
38mm Tial Wastegate (I have multiple springs) - Top and bottom ports connected

The motor is filled with standard oil for break in and has only been fired a handful of times to verify oil pressure and check for leaks.

I have an 05 STI 6 speed w\ R180 rear, axles, drive shaft, mounts, hubs, 4 Piston Gold Brembo Calipers with pads, and rotors on a pallet ready to install

There is some minor exhaust work that needs to be done to extend the mid pipe and muffler to fit the slightly longer Legacy body.

I have a spare EJ22t shortblock that will go with it as well

Any help with what this is worth to someone would be helpful and appreciated. I'm sure I missed a few things but will add them as I think of them.

Thanks

Brad

You have clearly much time, effort and money invested in your Legacy. Unfortunately as it is something of an un-finished project it isn't worth very much on the open market. If I had the time and money to do so I would be so tempted... Seeing as I have un-finished projects of my own and very little time or money to invest in new projects I can not seriously offer you anything for it.

My advice would be to sit on your project... moth ball it for a few years... and when you finally move in to your new home and can re-focus your efforts you will have something worthwhile to invest your time in. You do have a four car garage/workshop in your new home design plans.. right ?

Part it out.

Chances are very good that you'll find a buyer who wants the motor.
Chances are very good that you'll find a buyer who wants the drivetrain pallet.
Chances are reasonable that you'll find a buyer who wants the shell.
Chances are very good that you will not find a buyer who wants all three.

And it will be easier to come up with a value for each group of parts. You probably already know what you paid for the drivetrain pallet...

I'll try and dig up my pictures of the engine build. Ive got a sweet one with the beautiful closed deck and forged Wiseco's resting nicely with ARP studs installed Alright, I'm second guessing my thoughts of selling.
