Default Extremely Urgent: YOU can help Formula 1 Austin happen!! Take 2 to email the Mayor!

-----------
MODS: If you have any questions, PM me and I will provide proof this is not spam. The FerrariChat guys did their research and know we're not bsing anyone. This is as grassroots as it gets and everyone here will help to sway the opinion of local politicians in favor of F1 United StatesTM.
----------
BELOW ARE THE EMAIL ADDRESSES OF THE AUSTIN CITY COUNCIL AND A MESSAGE YOU MAY COPY/PASTE WITH YOUR NAME/LOCATION OR FEEL FREE TO SAY WHATEVER YOU WANT TO SAY FOR F1 SUPPORT IN THE UNITED STATES.
Again mods, this is not spam so PM me if you have questions, or go look at the first thread we had with Ferrarichat.com and see that users checked and approved the validity and see the number of emails in support that were sent.
This is very important because local politicians here in Austin, Texas do not realize how significant of a following F1 truly has. So please show them by signing the petition.

It says "I support Formula 1 Austin" in 9 different languages so send it to every F1 fan you can think of please!

EMAIL LOCAL POLITICIANS TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT. THIS IS AS REAL AS IT GETS LADIES AND GENTS. THEY ARE READING YOUR EMAILS!!

I was told this evening by Austin F1 Staff, "...local government is being crippled by emails from support for F1." Keep up the great work!! We need these emails ASAP because the 18th at 10am is less than 48 hrs away!!

BELOW IS THE TEMPLATE FOR THE NOV 18TH MEETING

Dear Supporter of Formula 1,

Please show your support for the Formula 1 United States Grand PrixTM this Thursday, November 18 by :

1. Emailing the Austin City Council members at <lee.leffingwell@ci.austin.tx.us; bill.spelman@ci.austin.tx.us; randi.shade@ci.austin.tx.us; chris.riley@ci.austin.tx.us; mike.martinez@ci.austin.tx.us; sheryl.cole@ci.austin.tx.us; laura.morrison@ci.austin.tx.us>.

Below is a draft email for your use. Feel free to edit as you see fit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Mayor and Council members,

As a strong advocate for bringing Formula 1 racing to Austin, Texas, I urge you to approve items #2 and #3 on the agenda for November 18 related to a service extension request and development reimbursement for water and wastewater improvements for the region that includes the United States Grand Prix site. City staff and the Water and Wastewater Commission have recommended these items. And these items are consistent with past requests made throughout Austinís ETJ. Additionally, the Environmental Board and Zoning and Platting Commission have recommended variances related to this project.

The Formula 1 project will serve as a catalyst for improvements in the City of Austinís Desired Development Zone and SH 130 corridor that have long been needed.

Supporting these items will bring this project a step further to becoming a reality. I am eager for the arrival of Formula 1 in Austin, Texas, and urge you to support these matters.

Sincerely,

Supporter of the Formula 1 United States Grand PrixTM in Austin, Texas
