Default Canadian 2010 Sport Tech Package at one of the dealerships in Edmonton

There's a dealership in Edmonton selling a 2010 WRX STI Sport Tech Package. It's red (which is no longer available in Canada for some reason, and i could go either way on the colour) and they're including a second set of Subaru rims with decent winter tires on them (along with the stock 18" silver alloys from last year - don't remember what brand they are).

It's a demo with 3500km on it and the paint is a little micro-scratched. If I can get it for around $36k do you think it's worthwhile? They're asking around $40k, but it's not worth that imo, and they seem pretty desperate to get rid of it. Factory MSRP with freight on an '11 Sport Tech is about $44k (though I know they can be had for a fair bit less).

Any input? Worthwhile, or should I just get a new one factory ordered? I haven't had a chance to drive a 2011 so I don't know how different the suspension setup makes it feel.
