Default Odd TPMS issue.

Hey guys, I have a 2010 Hatch. I just put on some 17" ASA wheels with blizzacks for my winter setup. I bought them off a guy who had them on an '04 STI. Anyway, After putting them on, I started the car and my TPMS light did not come on. I figured maybe since the tires were in the garage the car was still getting a signal from the tpms. Drove a few miles away to a gas station to put some air in the tires. Started the car and no light or beep. Drove a few more places and still have no light. I know these wheels don't have the sensors in them, and even if they did, I'd have to sync them. Anyone have any insight?

IMO when good things happen you want to try not to investigate them. Maybe god just blessed you with a broken tpms that doesnt result in an annoying flashing light on your cluster. Definitely a selling point if your ever interested in selling the car.

Give it time - the light will come on and you will have to learn to ignore it until spring.

Yes, it will take around 25 miles for the light to come on. Mark my words it WILL come on.

Does the light come on when you first turn your ignition to "run" ?

I'm pretty sure his light came on after he drove it some more. I know when I switched my wheels on my 2010 it took 25 miles (I was keeping track) for the TPMS light to come on. And then I reset it with my ATEQ Quickset tool.
