Default Need some input on tire/wheel size

Hey wanted to run this by some people and get their input. Looking to pick up a set of Advan RS 18x9 +35 wheels for my 05 STi which is on coilovers. Was told that I could go with a 235/40/18 with minor camber adjustments to prevent rubbing. Was not sure if this would be too much of a stretch for the tire and if I should consider 245/35/18 instead? If I go with the bigger tire I am guessing I will have to do some fender rolling w/ camber adjustment but was not sure??? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I am trying to get a more aggressive setup without getting crazy on the fender pulling/rolling. Thinking the +35 offset will be better than +45 for the more concave look which is why I have selected this offset.

Thanks,
Mike

you have failed to include a very important bit, here....what WIDTH wheel??

I would do a 17x9 at +40 - +42 with a 245/40 or 255/40

I know of a lot of d00000ds that have done the above with good to great results

if ya gotta do 18's.....245/35 or 255/35

beware too heavy wheel/tire combination.....it really does kill these cars as driveline mass increases

think lighter is better....NOT bigger is better
