Thumbs up Race Seat Sale at SafeDrives.com

As you probably know, all we sell at safedrives.com are automobile safety products, it's all we do. As such, we have done a lot of research to make sure that the seats we are offering are tested and certified at the highest safety standards in the world. Furthermore, all of the below seat options can be bolted into your car with brackets available from safedrives.com. These seats are made in Italy and are all FIA Homologated (certified). If installed properly, these seats can vastly increase safety in a street car or in a race car, the world over. Nearly any body type can fit into one of these seats, check out the *Sizing Guide*. Safe Drives LLC has been an OMP Dealer for a few years now, and have found the quality and availability second to none. These are very, very nice seats. Most seats ship from Florida. Specific questions can be answered over the phone or via this website.

With this sale we are offering free shipping!!

You can mix and match on the seats.

If you buy a seat during this sale, Safe Drives will extend your discount to any other safety items you purchase from us (like install brackets and sliders!)

Again, all of these seat are made in Italy, are of the highest quality, they are all very comfortable as long as the seat fits your body and all seats come with FIA Homologation / certification.

Well, I've been a rally car driver for about 8 years now, and I can say that I know rally well. I have also been working this job in automobile retail safety for almost 6 years now, and know it well. Unless you are abnormally tall torso, you would likely fit in most of these seats. The biggest safety concerns in rally are the 40+ Miles Per Hour trees, that when hit sideways at a right angle to your head... are "bad."

Unfortunately, today many rally car occupants competing in events all over the world, have nothing but a piece of glass between their head and the 40MPH tree. These folks sit in a seat like this,

This seat is legal for rally and most any other racing in the world. It is a tested and FIA Homologated seat. The feedback I have on this seat has been positive. Everyone says it is very comfortable and it would likely fit your taller frame 04wrexsti. For a budget racer, this seat gets you through tech and is just $332.10 shipped with this sale, a great deal.

That all said, the above style of seat does very little to help your head (you know, the brain) in an impact with a 40MPH tree.

04wrexsti, can your budget withstand a better, safer seat like this?

This seat places something between your head and the 40MPH tree. Keep in mind however that the "something" that this type of seat puts between the tree and your head is a flimsy piece of either, A Padded Steel Tube (like with Record 2), Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (RS P.T.), Carbon Fiber, Kevlar or some combination. So the something is usually not much, but better than nothing other than just a piece of glass.(!)

Now then, you can prop up any of these type of seats and make them much, much safer by adding Rally Nets and adding some SFI /FIA rated roll cage padding to the nets and/or seats, as pictured here.

or this:

I really feel every rally car should have nets... but for sure a seat is a huge part of the vehicles safety system. You have to think about the 40MPH tree though...

I do hope this helps.

youre very helpful with this thank you, i was looking at the sizing charts and it showed like accessories for seats and one of them were the peices that extend by you head, would it be cheaper to get the cheaper seat and add them on? again thanks for being so helpfull and descriptive haha

Hi,

Just so that I am perfectly clear about your question, are you asking about "A" at the bottom of this sizing chart? *Sizing Guide*.

You will need at least a Vehicle Specific Seat Adaptor Bracket.
