WTB: (Want to Buy) NOVA: Impreza or 1st Gen Legacy Turbo for less than $2000

I am wanting a new rallycross car. I really want 2.2L sedan or coupe but I will look at about anything at the moment. I need it to be able to last a full RX season without falling apart because I am not going to have much money to spend on for a while (out of state tuition sucks). It has to be able to pass VA emissions as well since I will be DDing this for a couple months.

Edit: It has to be a manual trans.

Edit: I am also now looking for 1st Gen Legacy turbos too.

I have a 1.8l thats seen the wrong side of a ditch, but I've taken her to 80 with no signs of problems!

Completely stock, needs a new exhaust. drivers front ball joint and a couple nitpicky things to pass va inspection.

I have a 96 Subaru Impreza L sedan with an EJ22e in it that I will sell. Still runs top notch. Its an automatic though.

I hear ya man! Yeah I have a 96 Brighton manuel also which is the coupe. It has some dings and in the body but I was looking to keep it unless you are really looking for one. Its heater core went out the other day though

emsmap: I am interested in the Brighton. Do you have pictures? Would it pass VA inspection? What are the particulars of it: i.e. Odo.,price, etc.

Honestly I don't want to get rid of it. It's my autox project car. Usually at Summit Point with my WRX but I am building my brighton for autox. You wouldnt like it anyway LMAO its dark green. It doent have back seats and doesnt have heat.

I am in Fairfax, VA. That's what everybody tells me. Usually all I find are autos. I have seen some really nice autos. I am ever vigilant though - I check craigslist like most people check facebook.
