insurance is not a topic to really be discussed on NASIOC. to many variables, age, driving record, company, region based on rates per the city, etc... it shouldn't be much more than any other 4 door car if u have a good record and say its a daily driver and not a race car lol... your rates would be different if you lived in LA vs rural Montana..

i would like to see the discount applied for that 26750 WITH navigation. that is INSANELY low. like, the dealership is losing money and paying YOU to buy the car, insanely low.

when mine comes in it'll be a premium model with navigation and the impact shock sensor for 28,123 before ttl. insurance is like $60/month for full coverage with $500 deductible

Paid 25,300 for my 11 sedan, only two options on the car, one was the STI shift knob, off hand I can't remember the other...that price was dealer invoice.

Default subaru newbie- 2011 wrx pricing help

Hi,

I new to subies and had a quick question for all the 2011 wrx owners out there. I'm placing an order pretty soon for a base 2011 wrx hatch, with no options. The price i was quoted was 25.1K OTD (includes 3% tax, title, and all fees). Do you think this is a fair price or am I getting hozed? Do you think I could ask for 25K even otd or even lower?

Thanks, any advice would be much appreciated. I live in Charlotte, NC if that helps. I'm sure price varies for different areas.

I have a similar question to this, I'll probably create my own thread in a bit.
Very informational replies, thanks everybody.

I am secretly enjoying this thread. Looking to buy a new 2011 WRX 5dr hatchback, and would love some input and suggestions.

Just picked up a 2011 WRX 4-door DGM base model + auto-dimming mirror/compass w/ homelink + center armrest extension + fog light kit for 25.3K + TTL at 2.9%. According to Edmonds.com, that's pretty much invoice price. I don't know if I could have haggled it down some more, but it was the best offer for the only base model DGM currently available within driving distance of where I live in L.A.

How much did you guys have to put in downpayment to order a 11 WRX/STI I don't plan to purchase mine till atleast June I plan to pay off some stuff to make my credit look better without the need of a co-signer and since I'm planning to get a DGM Sedan wrx base I want it to include the boost gauge and STS and so far from some "quote websites" the total for my area is coming out to be close to 25k any insight would be great also I plan to save up 5-8k if that would be good enough?

I'm not trying to be an asshat here, but are you guys really paying 30k+ for a WRX? That seems really high. I personally love the 2011's and would buy one if I could, but why not drop the extra jing for an STi?

/rant

The limited's with extra add ons are ending up around 30k. It would be another 8K+ for the Sti limited with same stuff. I didn't pick one up because I don't auto-x or do road course/track stuff. Its pointless paying for the extra stuff if your not using it.
