UPDATE: SOLD.
Thanks for your interest. I'm looking to sell (no trades) my 2007 Spec B with 73.6K miles, priced to sell at $15,500. Read this post and PM me if you're SERIOUSLY interested (most people hate to waste time, but I really don't get a lot of free time so please be considerate). The VIN is --------------, I'm in Washington, DC, and I have the title in hand (clean and clear title, not salvage or anything like that). The car is in excellent condition, is very reliable, and runs as new. Everything on the car works and works well! The engine is perfect, the tranny and shifter are sharp, and the handling is sublime, as you would expect of a Spec B. Like all 2007 Spec B's, it features grey/silver paint, 18" wheels, 6-speed manual, dual heated seats, 60/40 split rear seats, navigation, satellite radio capability, SI-drive, heated wipers and mirrors, auto-dim mirror, alcantera and leather interior, and an integrated aux/ipod input in the arm rest. It's also capable of playing DVDs on the nav screen (the PO added that feature). Most of the miles were put on by the PO, who is the original owner and used it to commute between the DC-area and New York. He sold it to me b/c he bought a real nice Charger. He and I have both taken exceptional care of the car, fully maintained and detailed. Most recently, I had the diff and trans fluids changed, put on fresh all season performance tires (Dunlops I believe), and I waxed and sealed the car--it looks fantastic. The only mods are a Megan downpipe--which is a fantastic improvement, particularly in the exhaust growl!--and clear front signal covers--which look fantastic. In the interests of full disclosure: I had the car repaired last spring after a postal worker swiped the driver side with his postal van when my car was parked. I had the repair done to OEM specs by Beyer Subaru and its body shop, Potomac Motors Auto Body. I also had them put on a new rear bumper due to a dent in the passenger side corner, which admittedly was my fault. I was carefully and slowly reversing out of a spot, but did not see the obstruction that caused the dent. It wasn't a big dent, but I like my cars as flawless as possible. So it now has a brand new OEM bumper cover that looks great! I'm selling the car because I have an opportunity to buy a Porsche that I've wanted at a great price. I can't justify having two cars. But the Spec B is as fast as the Porsche I want (it's an older model), so if it doesn't sell I won't lose any sleep over it! Here are some pics from last March (the car looks the exact same now, actually probably better now with the fresh wax, oh yeah, I also removed off the white caulk on the driver seat right thigh bolster), enjoy! -Nathan
