I was only saying that someone was gonna say it and believe it or not they did. And if I'm not mistaken I believe the title of the thread says rare parts only.
I appreciate your custom parts, but the people that appreciate rare parts go to this thread and when they want to see custom parts/mods they go to the custom modifications thread or the DIY one.
Try posting there and you'd get favorable responses if that's what you're fishing for big guy.

I subscribe to this thread to see stuff exactly like this. Never knew it existed, won't ever see it in person. Might be ugly but is so freaking cool and I'd rock it in a heartbeat if I had a foz.

Have a shot from a bit farther away off the front corner? I'd like to see more!

You could see it in person, we're both in WA. Not like Redmond is far from Issaquah.

I'll be taking new pics when I get some good daylight. I literally threw the bumper on last week along with the grille today.

Oh really!? I didn't even notice the license plate and I'm on my phone so I didn't check location.

I will keep an eye out whenever I'm in that area. I'm at UW right now and haven't been to a meet in a while, but I plan to start going to the Renton one every once and a while once my schedule decides to chillax.

I don't wanna get this thread too off track.. Hopefully I will see this one day and if not keep it up!

I just finished a few days ago. I picked these up from a fellow member for a "very" good price. Although they were beat up pretty bad with cracks and a hacked up harness I plastic welded and painted them. Then, I rewired them w/ all new relays and adjusters. It's been a love hate deal till now, the light output is much better and worth the hassle over oem. UK300's have been around awhile, I just found a set I could afford. I just wanted to be different. What do you think?

That's a GR steering wheel in a GD Chasis. I think that's pretty rare.

I know people will argue it's not rare, but I think it is. Even though it's rare by price, it's still rare. I've never seen one before.

I have the original JDM DAMD D shaped wheel direct from Japan which would be more rare then the Prova wheel since it was not sold here.

DAMD makes the Prova wheel.

But neither are rare.

Does DAMD really make Prova? They're both D-shaped, but noticeably different looking (personally I prefer DAMD).

People's standards have become way too ridiculous in this thread and it generates more discussion about what is and is not rare than actual pics. "It can be bought with money, it isn't rare!"

Yes, DAMD makes the wheels for Prova. I had both of them side by side (My wife accidentally ordered the Prova wheel for the GR as a gift and I have a GD) and they are the same wheel.

On the inner metal frame of the Prova wheel is the DAMD logo stamped into the metal. The only difference between the two is the DAMD wheel is leather and the Prova wheel is Alcantara.

It's a bit hard to see, but just above and to the left of the center spline hole you can see the DAMD stamp in the metal.

The GTSpec wheel for the GRs on the other hand is a completely different wheel, even though it too is D Shaped.

Wow learn something new every day - need to teach the gf to buy me JDM car parts

Also the DAMD thing...

Makes sense as DAMD seems to co-produce Prova demo vehicles (e.g. the BRZ 'black edition' http://www.damd.co.jp/products/subaru/brz_be.html)
