http://data.opi.state.mt.us/bills/mc.../30-14-205.htm

Japan, since October last year, has laws drafted in parallel to the USA "Restraint of Trade" laws; clearly enacted to enfranchise so-called "Grey Marketeers" who have over years, exercised their entrepreneurial advantage in the Internet age, and needed exactly this type of legislation to legitimise that position

I don't think any vendor on NASIOC actively dislikes, or hinders, any other vendor, regardless of market share or origin; I personally haven't experienced that, tho' clearly it's a competitive Industry

Posing as the "sole licensed Distributor" makes interesting copy; but is ultimately meaningless unless you purposefully manufacture and distribute direct ex-factory

We've followed up with several of Hiros claims to "sole distributorship"; a prime example being R Magic, a manufacturer specialising in Mazda parts, to find these to be completely bogus. Ohara-san, who runs R Magic, now directs all English language enquiries through their Japanese website to Japanparts.com and has been made aware of Hiros claim to "sole distributorship" and has *never* granted Hiro that right

Hiro; if you'll take the advice of someone that's been in business since 1991: ( and seen a helluva lot of companies and individuals come and go in that time ) posturing, falsehood and threats don't ever make for Good Business; life is too short + the Net is simply too transparent, for inappropriate behavior

the only way you are going to get money back from JOD is to do a chargeback via your credit card. forget paypal to help you in this matter unless you used a credit card.

i personally know of people going this route and have recieved thousands back on their purchases

i would do this sooner than later as i hear lots of people are pissed about product not arriving.

Better still: HELP YOURSELF!!!

As others have posted; Chargeback on your Card, and if that doesn't work:

You can make a Claim through Small Claims Court in SoCal, for any individual amount under US$7,500

http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/selfhelp/smallclaims/

There is a small filing fee; but you can fill out to all the applications online and get your day in Court

You have to arrange this at the nearest Small Claims Court to J-Ondemand ( they are based in Huntington Beach according to their Site ), believe that's Orange County

http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/selfhelp...scbycounty.htm

You will have to attend on the date and time the Court arranges; and be prepared with all paperwork to back up your Claim ( print and take all emails back and forward, PAYPAL receipts, Credit Card statements, etc. )

YOU have to attend, you can't engage a lawyer. If you are out of town, or out of State, you will not be reimbursed for travel or accomodation expenses

Believe the filing fee is 30 bucks or so; and typically 3-6 weeks from the time you file to the date of the hearing

Good luck! Don't let them get away with it; that's too long and too much money to lose....

They were like ~9 dollars...the whole F'in carton i lost only ran me like $15.
Guess I'll have my chance again

My semi-rare bits,

These Prodrive projectors were a PIA to score.

I also have OEM black leather seats and door panals...
