Any chance that these would fit on my 2003 WRX wagon?
They are on rims, off of an '08 outback. Will the rims bolt onto my WRX? My wagon is bone stock, btw. Thanks folks!

Ah, looks like tirerack.com may have answered my question for me. When i enter my vehicle, i get an option to choose the two different oem wheels that were used. Looks like it's either 215/45-17 or 205/55-16 ...
What other sizes fit a stock wrx? |

sorry, wheels.
I was asking about the original size because there's some for sale locally for a decent price. |

oh ok...my concern is the tire size you put in the thread description, the 225/55/17, that is not a good choice that tire diameter is going to be huge, youll probably rip a fender liner out.

No worries.
I'll just stick to trying to find some stock sized winter boots ![]() |

I would bet that they would fit and that you would not have any problems. I have run many different tire and wheel sizes than what is stock and have not run into any problems yet. The 225/55R16 (I assume you meant 16's since you mentioned stock wheels) would only be ~7/8" taller overall than a stock tire. Given the fairly large stock fender gap on a WRX I think you would be fine.
I can't guarantee it without trying it though, so that's only my opinion. |

i would not suggest putting a 225 tire on a 6.5in wide wheel regardless of the side wall height which i still think is too tall. |
