Default IA 2002 WRX Wagon Silver 5spd $6k this weekend! Price Drop!

2002 Subaru WRX Wagon

$6k this weekend! Time to make some space for the new wagon!

$6,500
5spd, 223k miles
Itís time to put my wagon up for sale. I havenít had it for too long, but I found a blue 02 that Iíve got to have, and as much as Iíd like to, I donít need two Subarus.
Itís got high miles, but it still runs great. The wagon has a fresh clutch, new brakes (rotors/pads/calipers in the front) and plenty of life left on the rears. The clutch has less than 1000 miles on it, itís just getting past the break in point right now. Fresh oil/filter, and thereís a K&N drop in filter in the airbox. Previous owner claimed the timing belt had been done recently, but I havenít pulled the cam cover to verify.
For you DSM folks, the car was sold new at Ramsey, and looks like itís been in Iowa all itís life.
Both balljoints on the front are new, and the driverís side axle was just replaced as well.
Tires are Hankook Fuzionís, with plenty of good tread left on them, although they are noisy.
I added Primitiveís front and rear skid plates, both are the heavy duty models, and the front has the stinger tail option. Just tossed a set of Flapatax urethane mud flaps on it this weekend as well.
The wagonís got some scrapes, and a few parking lot dings. The worst is in the front, where thereís some paint flaking off the front bumper, looks like it might have been replaced at some point. The interior is in good shape, the driverís seat had a split in one of the seams that I sewed up, but otherwise everythingĎs in great condition. The car comes with a new set of Subaru all weather floormats, including the rear cargo area mat.
Stock boost gauge, stock 6 disc cd player, etc are in and working like theyíre supposed to be.
Windshield is cracked, and so is the day/night mirror. I havenít gotten around to replacing them yet, but itís on my list of things to do.
Itís a great daily driver as is, it doesnít need anything right now, and I was planning on running some Rallycross events with it next year, hence the skidplates and mudflaps.
Price: $6500
The price can get lower if I keep the skidplates and mudflaps, I wouldnít mind keeping them for my new wagon. Feel free to PM me if youíd like to see the car in person and test drive it. Thanks!
Dave

Is that a stock aluminum hood with pins added? How's the gearbox feel?

Yep, sure is.

Gearbox fills great, shifts through every gear without grinding, in extreme cold weather it's a little stiff, but once the car warms up it's fine.
