Default Snow tires, wheels or both....

Life sucks sometimes...

I bought a set of tires from a member on Nasioc and one of them has the inner bead stretched and I am unable to mount it... (will not hold air).

I didn't noticed when I purchased because I paid too much attention to the thread, and I didn't look at the inside...

So now I have a set of 2000 stockers but no matching tires...

Does anybody want to get rid of their tires? If they come with wheels I might just take both.....

Thanks....

Oh, the stretch is to the inside of the tire. The interior rim is bent inwards... so I cannot seat it on the bead of the wheel.

I do not mean that has been stretched outward to fit a wheel. I think it was a dismounting error or something like that.

Yeah. I though it was too much to ask having in mind we are in winter already.

It sucks when you prep in advance and its all for nothing.... Seller ignored my second PM, so I guess he knew for sure about the problem with the tires.

Live and learn I guess...

Anything that could fit the 2000 RS stockers.

They are 205/55 16. But I would take anything that fits.

If not, I will have to call tirerack....

Sorry to hear about that. I'm not sure if it helps, but I have a set of rims with snow tires I've used on my 2001 rs that I could loan you for the season. $100 for the season should cover any wear.

They worked well on my rs but were a bit brutish since they are 70 series blizzaks. They rub slightly at full lock, but it didn't happen that often.

Details: rims are from a 1997 legacy wagon (15" x 6" and 5x100 obviously) running on blizzak ws70's. Plenty of tread left. Drove them to snowshoe a few times last year... needless to say I didn't have to drive slowly during those blizzards last year.

I'm wearing them down till I use up all the rubber then will replace the tires with 50 series. I'm possibly willing to sell too, but was thinking of keeping them for a potential car I'm hoping to get next year.

I can post pics if you are interested. Otherwise hope you search goes well! Local pickup as well since shipping would be rediculous.

Thanks. but I cannot have tires that rub since my wife would also be driving it.
