Question Link2 users

Anybody have some more info on the water injection thing with the Link2? I have been told it can do it but haven't seen any real info on it or talked to anybody who has done it.

Yeah it is possible, I just haven't done it yet. it should be pretty simple as it will hook off one of the spray wire.

Though I am working on a boost solenoid right now. But for some reason the solenoid is not working properly. Tryign to figure that out...

I understand that many Link users have upped the boost after installing the ECU. Does Link sell a boost control solenoid as an option or will an AVC-R suffice?

yes they have a boost control solenoid.
Here is a pic I took of mine that came with the Link. Not sure if Link makes this or if its a generic solenoid.

Sorry about the pic...not so good on using the digi cam

There is no problem with the solenoid you get from Link.
Bill is trying to run MORE boost (9 lbs) and is toying with other LARGER solenoids.
That's all

The water injection you don't use the water spray wire thats for intercooler spray you would use one of your others controllers for that but you can do it. also you can set up 2 different types of antilag 1 for group n and one for no open class. don't forget launch control it really is a badass piece but i can't get mine to control the boost

The boost solenoid I am using is the one that picture above. But for some reason, either I am an idiot and doign something wrong or the thing si broken. Personally I think I am an idiot and just mis wired it or something.

Just confirming my wiring with Link and going to get that working soon hopefully.

Hey Punkidd,

The Boost Solenoid Link sells is $259. The one I am trying to get working that may not work is about $80. That is why we are trying to get it to work, much cheaper.

PM'ed you my cell phone,

You can also contact me through our website, www.i-speedusa.com

I am working on a lot of Link Stuff for the website. Hopefully most of it will be up by the end of this weekend.

Later,
Bill

skywalker: check your PM

Also I think the reason your solenoid is not working is because if you have the same one as me (pic above), I think since they have 3 ports they are made for internal wastegates. We need a 2 port for external wastegates.
I need to contact Andrew and see.

That may be a possibilty of why yours is not working.

Andrew number has changed. Check www.carmodifications.com for the updated one.

Basically everyone with the boost control solenoid will have problems right now. Andrew is waiting for an update from Link...seems like a software issue.

Hopefully he'll see this post and reply with an update.
