2003 models are out!

O.K. I did a Dealer search and found many 2003 GT wagons in manual. I noticed they cost $1,700 more at Retail price. I then called 1(800)SUBARU3 to find out why. I was given the specs in detail. He said they got rid of the Limited label and everything that was in the Limited is now in all GT's. They have the better stereo and the 6-disk CD-changer STANDARD. And the Leather seats are standard!! Same engine though. The spoiler is still oprional but all else is standard! Base price of 2003 GT wagon in manual is now $26,000 that is $1,700 more then last year, but with Leather seats, the better stereo and a 6-disk CD-changer.

I also verified the 16" alloy wheels are indeed changed for 2003 models. Brooke said he will switch the wheels with mine. I guess if that will make him happy. I found the Silver 2003 GT wagon in Redwood City! Long drive, but if they give us a good trade-in value on the 2002 L.L. Bean. It should be the exact same payment, even with the higher interest rate. If so I am sure he will go for it and be satisfied!

I dunno how I feel about this. I liked the Limited option. Just one step higher. Ah well! I will be sad about the rims though. The GT's use to be sweet

Simple enough: Just make a wheel swap part of the deal when you buy it.

Lets see: (leather, more fancy goodies) In other words, heavier with the same power. Not exactly what I was hoping for. I guess sooner or later I'll have to give in and buy a real race car! lol......
