Default Trying to find a wheel setup

I have a 2011 WRX (non-STI) and am planning on a wheelset that is for all fair weather driving. I'm pretty new to upgrading wheels and what not: it comes down to,

Will 18 x 8.5 Rota Grid (5x100 bolt patt) fit my wrx without rolling the fenders / require bodywork?

Wheel Style - Rota Grid
Wheel Diameter (Inches) - 18"
Wheel Width (Inches) - 8.5"
PCD Bolt Pattern - 5x100
Offset - 44mm
Hub Bore - 56.1mm

Any suggestions, recommendations, advice is solicited. Thanks!

no...well...if you stretch a 215 or 225 with stock ride height, you might not rub. it'll look helladumb though and hellaflush unapproved.

That seems to be the generically agreed upon tire size yes? I'll probably go with those. So if I have a set up with:
  • 18" x 8.5" ; +44mm Offset Wheel
  • 235/40/18 Tire

This will work without suspension mods/ bodywork mod?

You should be running 245s. The wheels you want don't look like that, but they work better than the ones that do.

So those are the 17 x 9.5's (user photo credit: MKIVR32). I'm not interested in "stance nation" crap. I just want some nice looking wheels w/ the slightly concave look (guessing that would be achieved w/ the wider wheel size), not looking to drop the body in order to do so.

vs.

18" x 8.5" harder to see b/c darker wheel color (user photo credit: manjambles)

So I should be running 245/40/18 tires on the 18" x 8.5" wheels? I haven't seen a gold wheel setup with those specs. Anyone?

That's what an STi comes with stock, so I'd say yes. Lots of companies offer that size in all sorts of colors.
