Default Bel Air locals, help needed from a RS owner

If anyone with a 2000-01 RS can stop by my shop on Friday or Saturday (or next week) I would like to make a pattern of your inner fender for my Stealthbox/intake heat shield. I have a pattern for a 99 w/maf and the 02 RS/TS but not the 00-01 rs. I will gladly make you one for free for your time. I need one with the stock air box or one with a short ram intake. PM me Friday or just call and stop by my shop at Banner Glass - 320f Baltimore Pike in Bel Air. I am located between Bud's car wash and Burger King. 410-420-2030

Thanks
Tom

Tom,

I'm still interested in doing this. I will be around Bel Air tomorrow for the Ironbirds game, and I do live close to you right around BWI.

That is perfect. Can you stop by so I can make a pattern today? Probably take about a half hour to do. I can cut the lexan and take it home with me. We can do the final fitting there since it is closer to your house. Call me and let me know what time you can swing by. 410-420-2030 or 1-800-333-6617 ask for the Bel Air location. I'll give you directions when you call.

Garret-
Thanks for stopping by. Did you notice any change in power on the way home? Let me know if you have any rattles or problems so I can correct them. Post a pic if you can, I forgot to take one yesterday before you left.

Tom,

I noticed a slight rattle when the engine is under load, mainly at startup. I have a sneaking suspicion it's the metal piece that holds up the hood. I'm going to my dads today to use his dremel to make a slot for it. We'll have to get together soon so you can make the slight adjustment to your template.

Everything else is great. I don't know if it's my imagination, but damn--when I'm cruisin around town, I swear the thing feels like a different beast. She pulls a lot harder at all RPMs. The butt dyno definitely had a positive response.

Thanks a lot man.

That's because your not pulling hot air from under the hood now. Stop by and I will make a few adjustments.
