Default will JDM v7 EJ20G fit USDM 02 wrx 5speed?

basically just like the title says....

since i have a complete 02 wrx drivetrain minus the motor, since i want to go with the JDM v7 will it bolt up and work alright with the USDM 5 speed wrx trans...

and i do know that the trans cant handle alot of power, but this is just to get the car on the road asap

thanks!

yeah thats what i thought -
ej20g was produced 89-98 and has nothing to do with a ej207 (v7)

not faulting you its just an important detail
they may very well not know the difference don't pay too much for a 20 year old motor

ej20g ~$750 complete
v5-v6 ej207 ~$1500+
v7 ej207 ~$2100
v7 RA or spec C $2500+
