ok so either its a 42 offset in which case you could probably run a 245/40/17 and be fine but if they have a 30 offset its going to be a pain in the ass to get any significant tire to fit any will almost definitely require fender mods.

They have to be 42 mm on the back of the wheel on the mounting pad it will say E.T 42mm hopefully not E.T 30 2454017 if you dont see any snow i like the new uniroyal GTZ a/s 108.00per really a nice tire for the money Tom@waukegantire.com we have a group buy going on now

you live in AZ and you want all-seasons for what reason? we can't recommend a tire size without knowing the offset.

if you live where it snows then your in a dilemma really you should invest in 2 sets of wheels wide for summer and narrow for winter. The reasoning behind this is that if you put a 245 or 255 all season tire on your wheels which would be ideal for a 9" its going to be terrible in the snow. i would suggest you put a 245 or 255 summer tire on your new wheels, and then invest in some 215 or 225 winter tires for your stock wheels.

245/45/17 will also fit, but 245/40/17 is closer to ideal (stock) for your car.

Thank you

i can tell you that i have a stiffer ride with the pilot sport a/s plus with a 245-40-17 on a 17x8 wheel than i do with a 215-45-17 on a 17x7 wheel with the re960.

tirerack tests put them with basically the same perf numbers...i will say one thing. the water grooves on the sports plus...just 1 is about the size of all 3 on the re960 and i certainly can tell a diff going through all the recent rains and water sitting on the interstates.
