Default Found a possible Group Buy: RPF1 5x100 17x9+35!!

SO, I'm learning hast that Scion forums are a good place to look for used 5x100 wheels... kids with cheap cars and lots of money(sometimes the wheels are too skinny though, but not in this case)

I found this thread on their forums about a possible group buy on some 17x9 5x100 RPF1's

thought it would be interesting... I bet the Subaru Community could make it happen

i believe that their hubs are smaller than ours so you would need to modify the wheels to make them fit...could be wrong though, and also a 35mm offset is a little on the agressive side for subies something around a 42 would be optimal.

i hope you didnt put money down on them.

you are going to have to pay a machine shop to bore out the hub bore - scion uses a smaller bore than subaru.

it says "(includes Scion tC specific hub centric rings)" so you may just be able to remove the rings and get ones that fit a subie

Highly unlikely that the wheels have a Scion-specific center bore. A quick search for the RPF-1s wheels specs shows that nearly all of them (including the 17x9" +35mm version) have a 73mm center bore.

^^ I've since got wheels, but I think some 17x9 rpf1's would be sick on a subie. I run 17x9 +42 now

yes i know, but i posted it to show that members have tried to get one together before through our own vendors.

i don't want to block those interested in the group buy, but i can't allow a link to a non-nasioc vendor to be posted publicly. like i said, i can't do anything if i don't see it.
