Default 2011 WRX wheels on a '04 STi?

Does any one know if the 2011 WRX wheels will clear Brembo's on a '04 STi?

They should, there's a ton of room behind those spokes.

I'm not so sure. OE is 17x8 +53 for the 2011's, it might need a small spacer, but with the spoke design it might fit. If this works, I'd be super happy. I've been looking for some winter wheels.

aren't '04 BBS something like +52? really the only thing i see getting in the way is the spoke design.

Both the 04 STi wheels and the 2011 WRX wheels are +53. Offset has little to do with this, it's all about the spokes on the 2011 wheels. If somebody wants to drive their WRX up to my house I can answer this question in about 15 minutes...

Because they have an 04 STI so they have 5x100 hubs, or because they want winter wheels...or maybe they just like the way they look.

I dont think they are that "baller". I think they are kind of ugly.

But yea, 04 sti is 5x100. Itd also be nice for us wrx guys with brembo conversions. There is very limited "stock"ish wheels that clear the brembos, and most cheap wheels are too ugly for me to even consider purchasing.

That is correct, we have a hard time finding wheels that fit, everyone out there wants the 04 STI wheels for their WRXs of all years.

I think hrs referring to the optional bbs's. If he is then I agree they look great, if he's talking about the non optioned thick 5 spokes then I agree with you haha
