Default any reps in from tire rack?

found this...http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&ct=clnk&gl=us...thread.

it appears you all have imported the 17x8 kosei wheel at one time and am wondering if you all would be willing to do it again?

really?

i found it on their site still. thats how i found out the size to begin with then i found the old forum post.

i know weird things like that happen as my current wheels arent listed in the brochure for enkei but I have them.

if anything...how accurate is the weight listing for the enkei edr9 in a 17x8 5x100 et45? TR site says 21.6 lbs. just wondering if thats a manufacture spec or yours and if its manu how accurate are they normally with such things?

i have yet to weigh the new wheel set but my old stock wheel with re960 in stock size weighs 48.5 lbs on my home scale. the new wheels should weigh 1lb less per wheel if specs are correct.

Are they really brittle as so and so said up above or is that just one persons hearsay?

being december i didnt want to get "nice" wheels but am thinking in the spring to switch out for lighter.

thanks for the weight info.

Hey Luke,

don't mean to jack but whats the weight on the 17x8 and the 18x8 Bremmer Kraft BR05

K1 TS = 15.5 lbs.
BR05 = 22.8 lbs.

the Kosei K1 TS is not brittle at all. It is a very popular wheel which is used in many grassroots motorsport racing series. Kosei has been building quality wheels for more years than I can remember.

now onto the good news

While Kosei stopped producing the 17x8 K1 TS in 2008 but, we have had success in our discussions with them. We did have to make a rather large commitment with them for 1 last production run of the 17x8 ET45 version in both 5-100 and 5-114.3 bolt patterns so, if anybody would like to step up and pre-order a few sets we can do that now.

would it be easier to just go rpf1?

although not on your site, on enkei's, they claim to have black version and under the wheel list for the rpf1 it states a 17x8 5x100 et45.

i cant even preorder right now just bough my current set ~2 weeks ago. in spring i am certain i could no problem.

yes. how much we talking? i assume 250 or so.

the pricing will be $269.00
