its the new xxr 527, there 17x8.25 yeah I know I've never heard of an .25 ether but hey it is what it is. Ill have some bc br coilovers soon and just wanted to know what y'all thought. There's a subie owner on here that has a 2011 with 25mm spacers on his stock wheels to flush out the widebody look.

found it..

copyed from Members cars, 2011 subaru's and beyond --- Modliving post #166 page 7

so it brings me to ask, can i be safe running 17x8.25 offset 35 with my stock tires 235/45/17??(for now, trying to save on buying new tires)

The width is fine if that's what it is, as is sticking with the stock tire on it. The offset is low, but you already knew that. Should work with a rear fender roll.

You should have no problems with that set up. I run 17x9 (+42 offset) with a 255/40 tire on my 2011. No issues for me........

I'm on the fence for this one too...those XXR527's look pretty nice...and they are crazy cheap! but specs are so weird. 17X8.25 et 35...isn't going with that much offset without a wide width going to affect the wheel bearings? these are 5x100's afterall.

I wouldn't necessarily call anything <9" "wide".

but yes...there are negative effects on the wheel bearings, doesnt matter if its 5x100 or 5x114.

They are cheap because they are poorly made. And there are more negative effects than wheel bearings from running low offset.

while I'd strongly suggest going to a 235/40, it will be fine.

No experience with the 2011 sedan fitments, but if its anything like the hatches there is lots of room to play. probably wont need a roll.
