I'm in the middle of an EJ207 swap into my 97 2.2L and someone with a 98 2.2 legacy wants to buy my old motor but only if it can be swapped into his car. How compatible is this? Is it going to be plug and play? Or are the sensors not going to match up?
PS: Pay someone to do your wiring if you swap your GC ![]()

Yes. The automatics have an egr valve. The 5 speed doesn't. If both are the same you are good to go.
