Need Help!!!

Hey Guys, I have an 01 LGT and have been looking everywhere for an aftermarket exhaust. I had the muffler fall off randomly one night. It's hard to find any parts for this and I'm a WRX guy now so this is going to be my brother's car and he has the money and the ambition to make this car his own. Any help for us would be appreciated! Thanks.

Have a stock WRX or STI muffler? Take it to an exhaust shop and have em make it work. Other than that, your best bet is probably a magnaflow muffler with some custom piping and hangars. There are not a lot of aftermarket exhausts for these cars.

Yup ^^ Buy a nice muffler, maybe a high flow cat. Goto an exhaust shop hand them your parts and say I need an exhaust. 01 lgt are boosted right? If so get a 3" exhaust.

No. In the US the only Turbo'ed 2001-04 "Legacy"s are some of the later year Bahas (which are basically a Legacy/Outback that has been modified to be like a pickup truck).

Getting an aftermarket "fart can" exhaust and modifying it to fit is probably much more trouble than its worth. I would look around for a BOSAL / SPT muffler. I am sure some Subaru dealership likely has some of these sitting on a shelf somewhere.
