Thank you very much I will continue to keep it updated and hopefully I'll be able to keep parts coming. Though I know after I get the rpf1's on and suspension addressed I'll be taking a little bit of a break with adding parts.

Haha that's awesome! I'm really happy for finding it too it looks a lot better than the kartboy knob I had in there before. And I found it for a good price so I was psyched! Only thing I'm not really looking forward to is driving in the summer with it. But it doesn't seem to conduct cold too much so hopefully heat will be mild as well.

It's an STI Titanium shift knob. I believe it's OEM it may have been an optional knob on newer STI models. But I'm not sure correct me if I'm wrong. Here is a picture of it off Modified's site:

Good news! We are working with the guy who hit my car and his insurance to replace and repaint the bumper. I've been able to get a couple of estimates done and found a shop where I'd like to get it repaired. Because I'm needing to get an OEM replacement bumper and have it repainted, I'm hoping to get a lip in the meantime and see if the guy would be willing to paint that along with the bumper. I'll keep updates coming as the develop. Thanks for looking!

Yeah it is. I wanted to use the boot from the STI so I went to the local ACE hardware and found a rubber stopper that was biggest at the bottom and gradually became smaller (similar to what the boot sits on on the STI shifter). I drilled a hole in the middle of the stopper that was a slightly larger thread so it could fit over the shifter. The boot sits on it pretty nicely. And then they had a ring similar to the collar of the STI shifter, so I put that on top to fill in the thread space. But I would much rather have the 6 speed transmission One day lol

Thank you! I hope to have the wheels on soon but I may wait till the beginning of March to do it in order to avoid salt if it snows again.

I know what you mean! I loved my teg and if I still had it, it would be cool. But this is the car that I've been wanting to build so I can definitely say that I am happy to have it! One day man you'll get your Subie for sure! And thanks for the compliment I'm glad it turned out well or it would have bugged me lol.

Yeah I feel the same way, I actually wanted an ITR to be my next car but I didn't want to have to deal with the paranoia 24/7.

And where are the updates man! lol

Lol I know school has kept me busy lately. I have an update coming soon though! I wish I could find a clean ITR and afford it. I know what you mean about paranoia. I met a guy in Chicago that was buying one of two known 4 door ITR's in America. And he was telling me about the security he was planning for that thing. It involved an underground "bunker" lol. I hate how people steal them all the time. My first teg (which was an ls and an auto) got stolen! But sadly I can't afford an ITR plus I would buy it to keep for special occasions. Def something that would/might come down the road.

Time for another update! While searching the suspension classifieds, I came across a good deal on a spring/strut combo. They are a combination of 04 GF210's and KYB AGX. They have low mileage and were a good price, so I decided to get them. I'm hoping they will be a good starting combination for a dd/autocross set-up. They are supposed to be at the house today so I will have pics up asap. Thanks for looking!

I received the struts and springs and I'll have pics up soon. They needed a little cleaning up, but look great! My lugs also came in while I was gone on a trip. I'm hoping to get the rpf1's on this week as well. Here are a couple pics, let me know what you guys think:

More pics to come soon!

What tires are you going to be running on those RPF1's?

I bought the Dunlop Direzza StarSpecs last year. Highly recommended. I opted for 235/40/17 and I had to get my rear fenders rolled due to rubbing. So keep that in mind if your car is lowered- you may want 225's.
