I also think that she is the best professional female driver in the US. Sorry, Ms Fisher.

I'd have to agree with you on both counts. IMO Danica Patrick makes Sarah Fisher look like the amateur she is. Hopefully Danica will get a CART ride in the next couple years. Hopefully CART will last a couple more years.

Thumbs up Danica is Hot!

I had the pleasure of watching her race at the Long Beach GP Toyota Celebrity race this year, as one of the professionals... Of the pros, only Tommy Kendall could run with her...

She qualified on the pole, and held off Tommy going into turn 1, and then was able pull away from Tommy a little bit, so that she had just enough breathing room to pass celebs w/o getting jumped by Tommy... She never slipped or bobbled the whole race w/Tommy in her mirrors just close enough to take advantage of any mistakes. She just drove a very sweet race! Very strong performance!

But then afterwards, she did a victory lap in the back of a Toyota truck, and she is just gorgeous! Kinda like Angella Seeling... a wicked fast and beautiful brunette! She was with some celebrity winner, who was also a lovely brunette, but Danica was prettier than the celeb!

As for her future, I'm hoping that she goes to the Red Bull try-outs, as she is a kart racing champion, has already been over to England to race, where she did very well, and she could go again with Red Bull money and do even better. It would be great if the next american F1 world champion is a woman!

Default Monterey Historics

Not sure what this was about, but we spotted her on Sunday hanging out in the BMW tent with Bobby Rahal.

Thumbs up

Mmmmmm..... I got to see her close up in some pretty girl clothes at the CART town meeting in C-bus a few weeks back. Very very hot.
I tried to talk to her, but she kept warning me to stay back.... something like 500 feet...she kept going on about some restraining order or something...I don't care what that stupid judge says!!!

Of course I made up that whole last bit there, but she is pretty hot.

If you want to see another beauty car driving gal, see if you can find a picture of Pattie Hughes/Mayer or whatever her last name is. She is a (I'm going to dig this one out of like the early '80s) real fox!! Plus she is into rally. Too bad she is spoken for though already.

Speaking of Tommy Kendall, he raced in that Toyota Celebrity race as a pro driver. I see him as an announcer for CART on SPEED channel..

so what's his racing resume? I never heard of him b4

OK, I'll drop a little knowledge on some of the questions from this thread. Tommy Kendall was always one of my favorite drivers growing up.

Kendall was a 4-time Trans-Am champion in the '90s. His best season was driving a Mustang sponsored by the All-Sport sports drink...he drove the car to 11 wins in 12 races. He also ran some IMSA prototypes and NASCAR with lesser success. His career was hampered by three things:

-A crash at Watkins Glen that badly injured his legs. (Hence the existence of the "Interloop")
-The fact that he's 6'4" made it very difficult for him to fit into an Indycar, which is where he had wanted to take his career.
-The fact that he became a big fish in a small pond with the decline of sportscar racing in the US. This meant that his monetary demands as a driver often outweighed the economics of sports car racing.

Anyhoo...Danica Patrick is a hottie, and is very talented. She was at one time dating Marino Franchitti, brother of Mr. Ashley Judd...

The reason she was probably seen with the BMW folks is that she was very close to a ride with PTG in the ALMS driving an M3 this season until BMW decided to pull the plug on the program. BMW is rumored to be coming back to the ALMS next year, so she's either visiting friends or negociating for next year.

And yes she's a cutie.

She looked pretty hot when she was feeding Tommy Kendall grapes on Cart Friday Night.

BTW, Tommy Kendall is a funny, funny man. I wonder if he's like that all the time or if that's just some stuff he does for the show.

I knew of the Atlantic deal with Rahal, but I was curious how seat time at the Historics played into that. Was it a promotional appearence, or was it more of an experience-building venture? Either way, it was good to see her.

I guess I didn't really know what you were getting at with that pic. Rahal has had an interest in her since she raced in Formula Ford in Europe last year, so I doubt the historics had anything to do with the Altlantic deal.

I dunno who Milka (there's a rather crude joke in there) Duno is? The woman who put the pain in Panoz?

A model who drives versus the best female road course driver in the US? You are of course, kidding.

Hey, 4th at Trois Rivieres in the Barber Dodge. A hell of a lot better than I would ever do this side of about 10,000 laps of instruction!

We'll see what she can do when and if she makes it to CART. That is of course if CART is still around by then.

For her to get to CART would require at least one full season in Barber Dodge and probably 2 and a hatfull of podium finishes. I seriously doubt that CART and IRL can continue to compete - this town isn't big enough for both of them. I understand that CART's TV ratings have been dismal recently - not that IRL's have been stunning either. Anyway, open wheeled racing on ovals doesn't do it for me - not even Indy.
