I have an N/A manifold going on some jdm big port heads and my avcs hits the top feed injectors fuel rails. I've managed to cut and lower the avcs bracket but now the connector is not clearing. I already have 8mm phenolic gaskets with oem gaskets top and button. Easy fix get thicker gaskets but I don't know anyone that has any thicker them 8mm phenolic gaskets. I was thinking a making a extention and mount them sideways or perhaps a little cambered however the style solenoid I'm unsure will transfer fluid since inside it a small hole that it comes out and the solenoid might not make a complete transfer of flow. If you've seen and examined you'll know what I'm talking about. Also tossing the idea of turning just the plastic part and rotating the connector but unsure if possible. It's just the connecting head that doesn't clear, perhaps cut and create another extended connection. Scarey but it would work I just don't got another set to toy with. Thicker spacers would really be the easy way anyone know where to but some. Thanks for listening to me gripe.

good thing I choose to just have the NA upper manifold; '05-'06 Legacy. This way I run everything WRX fuel rails, TGVs, etc below. Phenolic spacers would be a good way to go about it. That's pushing an already pretty tall manifold up further.

I'm using the 2.5i n/a manifold from modded from outfrontmotorsports.com. They have an aluminum spacer that I'm using that is as I can recall 13mm. With the spacer it barely clears the avcs solenoids. Btw outfront made custom spacers for the aeromotive top feed fuel rails to fit the Fuel Injector Clinic 1300cc injectors. You can also have kstechnology make a custom set of phenolic spacers for you. You just have to be sure how thick you need them to be to clear. Just contact either one of them.

Pics of clearance after the spacers:

Yea, but I don't know anyone selling taller phenolic gaskets then 8mm. I'll have to look into the jdm slenoids. Anyone have a picture of one. Thanks

I just said above kstechnology can make them for you. They make a 9.5 and a 16mm. Or you can have them make a custom set.

Really! dang, I'm gonna have to bug jeremy tomorrow at outfront. I'm suprised he never mentioned it that's also where I got my manifold. I told him I had this problem yesterday. Cool I'll hit him up tomorrow. Thanks

Are you using the avcs? If not remove them plug up the hole and the two holes inside the case under the cover. Keep oil lines attached as they feed oil to the front cam cap.
