Default Need Help Guys With Potential Swap

NEED HELP GUYS WITH POTENTIAL SWAP.

MY 06 WRX WAGON TOOK A DUMP ON ME. IM IN NEED OF MY CAR ASAP.
BESIDES LOOKING FOR A REPLACEMENT STOCK MOTOR, WHAT OTHER MOTOR CAN I PUT IN. WILL A 2004-2005 STi MOTOR wORK? OR IS THERE ANY OTHER IDEAS. IM ON A BUDGET OF $3000. I NEED HELP GUYS

Eh, Idk if you could do a full STi swap with $3k. I heard wiring and ecu is about $2k. What went wrong exactly? Possibly built motor?

Yeah is your engine at all salvageable? For that price range your best bet is most likely going to be a replacement similar motor, however if only your block is bad you could swap in an STI block for that price.
