Pressure plate help and 07 sti transmission clutch fork plug what size?

What size hex key is it? I was under the assumption it was a 14mm and it was not. It was too small. But the 17 I had was too big. I know it sounds dumb but is it a 15 or 16?

Also, should the pressure plate sit right on the flywheel or a little above it while you torque the bolts down?
