I love Batman... the Batmobile is one of the coolest cars ever. Subscribing, good luck!

this needs a EJ207, 2JZ, or LSX to reach maximum awesomeness.

Even a supercharged 305 that is in the car now has some nice grunt, or a simple LT1 conversion.

But even at the 200HP rating of the 305 it should have some pep.. The entire fiberglass body shell of the Batmobile weighs less than 500 lbs! Decent power to weight ratio.

how much does something cost in price, I know there is a lot of sweat equity involved. But the sweeeeeeden batmobile looks pretty cool, I'm just curious what something like that would cost to buy.

The last fully finished one that I saw go on Barret Jackson was about $100,000. Now that doesn't indicate what it "costs" to build. But that's what it sold for.

The largest amount of the cost is in all the fabrication work, which is why I'm doing it all myself. When you look at your average $100/hr fabrication cost it adds up quickly!

So mine is all being built by me in my Batcave

The Sweeden Batmobile would cost even more.. the entire car was a hand sculpt that they created from scratch. Mine is pulled from the molds created off of the movie car.

Very cool, I wish I was more handy in those things. Rolling out of my neighborhood in the batmobile would cause most of the people to keel over.

my auto class was just donated a helicopter jet turbine engine. put that in it, the design is already set for the engineering of it... you just have to ride the rocket!
