Default DDM Tuning HID kit, need some extra HID parts, anything local?

So I ordered a new HID kit for my JDM projectors since i lost one bulb and ballast. I didn't realize that all i had ordered from DDM tuning was the D2S bulb itself and the ballast, none of the wires in between. are there any stores local that would have some accessories that could help?

thanks guys,

- Nick

The DDM Tuning kits are plug and play. You should be able to go:

OEM Wiring -> DDM Tuning Bulb connection 1 -> Ballast -> DDM Tuning Bulb Connection 2

The only other wiring available would be if you wanted to have the current drawn directly from the battery, then they offer a relay harness.

incorrect. the Apexcone Raptor V2 HID kit includes what is below. They have extra "optional" accessories. This kit has the ballast and ignitor in one unit.

YOU are incorrect. i have ordered 3 kits from ddm and about to order my 4th and none of them looked like what you have since you are missing the wiring from the bulb. i would give them a call and ask for a new bulb because you can't do anything with this current set up.

you can see here what comes with the kit and as you can see you are missing wiring, and mike is correct the only other thing you can get is the wiring for a straight draw from the battery. http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Ap...Raptor-HID-Kit

I think the raptor kit is for motorcycles or ATVs. That kit may be correct the way it is but I have no idea how to hook it up. Most of their kits and all the ones sold for car-replacements come with the wiring built into the bulb itself.

Reading on their site, I'm not sure what the raptor kits are for. They do look similar to the old style ballasts that were common from Hella.

As for the wiring, as I said, I've never seen an HID bulb without the wiring hard-wired into it.

Go check your OEM wiring... what you are missing should be in your headlight housing. You will have to replace bulb, and there should be a positive and ground on the bulb. Use that for your new setup if all the voltages match up.

This is why I love Caesar from Lightwerkz... he knows his shiz and honors lifetime warranties! I had a bulb go out after 2 yrs and he got me two new bulbs and 1 new ballast at no charge.

You may have to rig up a positive to ground or female to spade if the connections don't match... go with 16 or 18G wire

I think I have a splice kit with some extra hardware if you really can't figure something out.

GL!!

The part he is missing though is from the OEM car-side connector to the Ballast and the ballast to the HID bulb. The connectors on the end of the Ballast in the picture (black and red wires) should have their counterpart connectors hard wired into the HID bulb in the picture. There should also be a connector that goes into the recepticle on the Ballast which gets power from the oem wiring harness.

He is trying to put D2S bulbs into non-HID JDM's, can't be done.
The ballast shown has a connector for an aftermarket rebased bulb and will not work with a D2S bulb anyway. There is no adapter to make it work and it's dangerous to try screwing around with the bulb side of HIDs due to the extremely high voltage present.

I see what you're saying. I had mismatching spade connectors so I had to do a little extra re-wiring when I got my second round of warrantied bulbs back.
