Not until after New Years. I'm guessing my little brother is using my new snow tires to their fullest.

So, has anyone heard of STI exhaust valves "cupping" meaning the actual seal of the valve starts to form a cup shape and the head disforms because of it. A friend of mine who worked for a machine shop said he ran across STI heads on a regular basis where the exhaust valves would do that and cose irratic idle (the problem I've been having) i have no way to verify myself if that is the case on ym car but i was curious if anyone else has heard of or experienced it....

we've never seen valves or heads do that

and I haven't heard of that. I've seen valve guides start to fall out of place and not allow the valve itself to seat properly

It's still the same thread. They just deleted a ton of posts for whatever reason. The thread wasn't even that long. Go to the first post, Ian had created this new thread basically Oct. 1st. And why did they choose to cut it to Dec. 21? Such a random date.

We haven't had that much action in here since then to get the thread cut down. I demand an explanation.
