Road trip tomorrow to pick up an '02 transmission!

Also, I came across this, if you think of selling your wrx, here's what will happen to it in the afterlife....(or when the wagon rusts out around the running gear!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=B-3Z9zUZRpE

In short, Factory Five has announced it will be called "Project 818". WRX running gear based kit car. I am SOOOO in!

Need to buy a new drivers seat. One of the metal mounting brackets for the strap on the back of the seat snapped no lower back support. Going to become my new office chair.

I still need a few things before putting the motor together... the one big thing before assembly, is a completely motor gasket kit.

that's the one. if i decide i want it, i'm gonna pick up that 06 wrx tranny in the classifieds to trade. could probably get it for $500.

if i get it, this will save me some money cause i'm not gonna bother doing the billet shifter forks and whatnot this time. all OEM stuff was replaced when it was built, so it should be good for a while.

Paxton Sean? Hope you have a GPS. There's zero highway access close to Paxton. My parents live kinda close to the Worcester/Paxton line. Too bad I didn't know cause I was just there last night. I could have maybe grabbed them for you.

Dude wants cash only so that probably wouldn't have worked out. he doesn't seem too far off of 495... i'm going that way instead of through Providence (from Dartmouth) because there should be less traffic and 146 kinda blows.

When I go home I take the Pike to 146, to 290. Get off at Kelly Sq. in Worcester and then cruise Chandler street straight up to Rte. 122, which leads all the way up through Paxton. You're only on 146 for like 2 mins and there is never traffic.

I've tried the Pike to 495 to 290 route and honestly, it's not as fast. But that's my opinion. Do whatever you feel comfortable with homie.

Are these the powder coated STi wheels I saw in the classifieds? They'll look dope on your car.

Yeah they are the powder coated ones, i really just needed one and i was gonna paint them. We'll see the condition and I'll make my final decision from there.

My GPS and google had me going up past the pike to route 9, then west.....

Well since you put it that way.... haha.

Also note that I'm coming from dartmouth, so thats why i was saying that I was trying to avoid 146... basically in providence, which is why i was going 495. but I'll do the zig zag pattern. It may also be worth noting, 122 is worthless for where this guy lives, he's almost literally on the Worcester/Paxton line.
