Default VF39 Turbo in to a 2002 WRX?

Quick and easy question; will the stock 2008 WRX turbo directly bolt on to a 2002 WRX? If not, is there a lot of work for the swap to happen? Thank you.

The stock 2008 WRX turbo is a TD04 just like the 2002 WRX, so yes they'll bolt right in and work fine.

no it won't! you need 02/07 td04 the way it goes to the intercooler is wrong. the 08 uses a flange and the 02/07 is just a silicone pipe
