Default tb13's 96 Brighton Coupe, Less Doors, More Fun

Hey NASIOC, A while back I bought a 2002 WRX that I adored, but it ended up being more than I could afford, so I had to say good bye to it. It was a sad day, but I knew I'd be back some day, but I didn't expect it to be this quick

I picked up a 1996 Impreza Brighton Coupe today, I've always loved the way the coupes look, but never figured I'd be able to actually own one. Its not fast, its not pretty, but it is a coupe and it runs great so I can't complain. $900 got me this little turd, its got flaking paint, a CEL on, and a dented trunk lid, but from the little time I have been able to drive it today, I dig it. Overall the body is super straight which will be awesome for when I get it painted and it is bone stock so I won't have to fix any thing a previous owner attempted to botch together.

Being a factory 5 speed car makes an STI swap a bit easier. I am thinking about a JDM GC8 swap, but I don't know how an EJ20K will do on crappy Arizona 91 octane. If anyone wants to throw in their two cents on what the best bang for the buck swap, please do.

Here she it, stock as stock...

So, what do you guys think?
