ARK GRiP Exhaust Review (08+ STI and 11+ WRX Hatchback)

I just installed this system onto my car last night. Here are some photos and video. I will have more info up soon here:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2427954

And here's a quick video:

You can see that nearly all of the exhaust flows out of the passenger side at idle. But under load, exhaust does flow out of both sides (but probably not quite equally). The exhaust uses dual Helmholtz resonators and they really do seem to work. The exhaust is very quiet at idle and low RPM's but has a good tone at WOT. I will have more info up later.

Nice photo, what year is your car? For some reason the fenders don't look super flared to me which is why I ask

Here's a question..... I am sort of new to the newer hatchbacks (just got my 2011 two weeks ago) and have noticed that theres little to no love for the 04 STI BBS wheels on the newer cars? Is there a reason for that? I'm personally not a huge fan of the stock 2011 wheels and really think a set of the 04 BBS's would look great but I have failed to see many cars with them on. Is it an offset issue? Something else?

I don't think it's that we have a problem outside of the fact that they're actually pretty rare or they're not in great condition. The 04 STi was the only year STi to offer 5x100 bolt pattern. Everything that came after that was 5x114.3.

Its a mixture of rarity as RM said, price, and that I think most of us actually like the stock wheels. I know I dont mind them

also the 04 STI wheels are 7.5" wide so its a width downgrade. Probably mostly because everyone on here thinks rotas are better than BBS.

xluben did it, they looked great

you could get 05+ wheels with conversion spacers too and then they would be 17x8 like the stockers

I've toyed with the idea of buying the wheels off my buddies 04 sti parts car. Might still go for it, but just not worth the money for wheels right now

Yeah, I had them. They do look great. They're super light, but they're only 17x7.5", so they're thinner than stock.

You could still put 235s on them though, so you could keep stock tire size

Has anyone modified the stock 08-10 WRX Bumper?

I want to cut out the bottom part (under the grille) with like a dremel, and the replace those weird cries crossing bars with mesh
