I'm amazed that people like rolled tips over the flared ones. They just look so cheap to me. Close to straight cut. I guess it's just personal preference. They're definitely much easier to keep looking clean than the flared ones though. The ground clearance and drone of the Q300 are very unappealing to me. I have considered the TurboXS, MadDad, and Nameless with Magnaflow muffler. Not really interested in any of the eBay brand ones (CNT, FMS, ERZ, etc).

So you're ok with stock sound, just doing it for looks?

Get exhaust tips made to how you want them. Done and done.

I love my N1. No other exhaust inspires a person to get a subaru more. Seeing jaws dropping on 12 year olds is priceless. Reminds me of when I was younger.

Yes, I would be, but the stock exhaust (small piping and restrictive muffler) don't seem to have the best flow once you get past 400-450WHP.

I didn't buy a car based on noise. That has never been a concern of mine at all. I'm not looking to impress people when I drive by.

Sorry, I'm not inspired when I see Stage 2 cars blast out of a meet with the fart can roaring and head straight into a residential area. If a legitimately fast car is loud, that's fine. But I don't see the point in making a not fast car louder, just for the sake of showing off.

Wow, I hope I'm not the only one that thinks all that you've just said is ludicrous.

You should probably tone down the ego, Mr. 400whp. You want to get elitist? You drive an econo-box.

1. ) Many people consider even stock wrx's fast, even if you don't.

2. ) Most car enthusiasts consider exhaust sound important. Quiet Ferrari? No thanks.

It's just my opinion. I'm sure many people do not agree. I had the same opinion on this when I was stock, so adding more HP to my car has not changed this. If it did, I would have a loud exhaust on my car...

Good to know you think your car is slow. I take that back, you're quite humble.

Funny, I think even my 110whp miata is fast. Beats plenty of higher hp cars in autox.

Should have known not to start arguing with a person over something so arbitrarily defined. Congrats, you brought me down to your level. Won't fall for that again.

back on topic. my ****ty stage 2, fart can included...

I never said my car was fast. Or that it was slow. I never said there was anything wrong with Stage 2. I don't prefer a loud noisemaker that does not increase performance at all. I'm not trying to impress 12 year olds. That's my opinion. You don't have to agree.

I like this shot! The reflection on the window is a bit strong, but the curves of the car look great. What did you use for lighting? Softbox?

walked over it with a 4ft fluorescent shop light with a slow shutter speed. My friend is the photographer, don't know all that he did.

Ah, that makes sense. I could see the light source was squared off on the rear fender so I figured it was either a softbox or a long exposure with a light. Turned out very good compared to the light painting attempts I've tried. I just don't think black is very friendly for that kind of thing.

Yeah, it worked out great, we used a softbox also but the lighting wasn't as good. Blue definitely shot great.

STI short shifter
Random upgraded bushings (powersteering rack bushing, x-member bushing, TIC "oh-shift" kit)

So the real question is, why do people just buy one exhaust at full price?!?!?!
Well played! I'd trade my Tsudo single exit for a single exit SPT if anyone wants something a little louder.

You indirectly said your car was slow. You directly said stage 2 is slow. You still haven't defined what fast is to you. I never said I'm trying to impress 12 year olds. Aside from missing the point, you're also a dick and full of ****

Yes you did.

I have my opinions and if you don't like them, too bad. Go ahead and call me names all you want if it makes you feel better.

It can be fun to have loud exhaust sometimes but it makes you look like an idiot to some people.

Trying to define "fast" is pointless

what's even more pointless is for mr. doucheben to use it in an arbitrary fashion when he's ragging on people for "just" being stage2 since he's so far above that.
