someone explain to me WHY the new subys are called hatch backs and not wagons? i think its just marketing. 5 doors (4 passenger doors and a hatch) in the back = WAGON. stop denying it ppl. now, if your suby had 3 doors (2 passenger doors and a hatch)..then u have a hatchback. call it what u want guys..ur driving a wagon. get over it.

Guess you've never heard of a five door hatchback. Mazda makes em too. But funny enough, my insurance calls my car a sport wagon.

My insurance calls it a station wagon.

I always thought the length of the cargo area is what determines if it's a hatch or wagon, not the number of doors.

A hearse only has two doors and I wouldn't consider that a hatchback, it's a wagon; in a manner of speaking. And I consider the 3rd gen a hatchback and the 1st-2nd gen Impreza is a wagon.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

No matter a wagon or hatchback, I love the looks and utility of the Subaru Impreza "5 door" vehicle.

Thanks! Ride is good and pretty close to stock. For the price, you wouldn't regret buying it.

I can honestly say I have never been into hatchbacks, up until I saw my 2011 WRX. I have never been more in love with a car <3

A couple pics from this week. After being in LA for the Grand Prix this weekend I really missed my WRX.
