question for us hatch owners. would you rather have springs or coilovers.

i heard springs are okay for track days. i just want to go for fun and see how they are so i dont have to drop a whole ton of money on coilovers.

i deal with winter also so what do you suggest?

i plan on buying sway bars and endlinks also. anything else i should add to the list before buying springs also?

Agreed, it will get rid of some of unwanted roll at the track and then you can decide what stiffness of springs might suit your driving style and needs. I played around with my sway bars for a couple months before throwing on coilovers, it def helped me make up my mind when it came to deciding the stiffness of the springs or what coilovers I wanted that were in my price range.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys feel as though you have an ample amount of cargo space with the seats up? You think you'd be able to get a full sized suitcase, overnight bag and a duffle back there? I looked at it in person, but it's hard to get a read on how much space there is and I didn't want to show up to the dealer with luggage.

IMO you'll have plenty of room for that with the seats still up. There's a good amount of room in the hatches. I have a giant schnauzer that's about the size of a great dane and he's got plenty of room.

I have no problems with the seats up with 2 fullsized suitcases, 3 backpacks, 2 sleeping bags, 1 case of 24 bottle water, and a bag of snacks (about the size of a paper brown bag).

what you should have said was
"I have no problems with the seats up and 2 dead bodies in the trunk"

Default New to the Subaru family

Hey guys newbie here. I was a honda and toyota fan like any other ricer kid that grew up in lowell ma...lol and now that i'm a little older now i appreciate this 13 WRB WRX Hatch and all its glory. I first was introduced to Subaru was my girlfriends 11 Impreza Premium HatchAUTO. I thought to myself hey if this this is fun to drive now I wonder what the WRX/STI are like. So long story short I went down and test drove a few this past Presidents day just to see what was out there and went home with this beauty for $25K. Anyways just wanted to say "Hi" and say I am greatful this for Forum and to say thanks.
