Default Anyone know the final drive ratio on the JDM STI type ra 2001 ???

According to the MRT book, the final drive ratio is 3.9. But that might be only for AU cars.

Word, every 6spd I've seen listings for has claimed a 3.90 final.

alfriedesq, thinking of changing to 4.11 or 4.44 final drive??

I think that is one thing that would make even the stock US spec WRX better. 4.11 is what made the RS a blast, that and different gear ratios!

Al, all the STI ra stuff I have gotten 6 trannies so far have been 3.9. I believe the std STI is different. The Japanesse web site also states 3.9 final.
