I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that I have been fortunate to meet in the last year. Many of you helped create this forum and have crontributed to the traffic that has kept us alive. I've been a small part in something that I see continuing long after I leave. I noticed that a few people have stepped up to organize meets when key people were unavailable. This tells me that there are others out there that are willing to spread the gospel (watch out for the AKIC mafia). One of the hardest things for me to do was to dedicate so much free time to working on cars that sometimes I sacrificed my own mods. I'm glad I did. I hope to see you guys during my next Alaskan visit. I'll continue to moderate this forum and even browse the sister site. I hope they change the name to AKperformance.org That's enough mushy stuff. On with the mods, first, who brough the beer?

Winslow

Thanks for all the time and dedication to getting this chapter started and basically getting everyone on the same page. Maybe we'll see you sometime in the future and hopefully there will be some new members and have a bigger local scene for performance enthusiasts.

Winslow,

Thanks for all the help and support!!! It was great to meet some guys in the import scene that are as cool as the DSMer's!!! The car club (akperformance.org) is in full swing. We've got people donating to the cause now!!! The only hitch is waiting for the graphix designer to get done w/ the logo. Once the logo is done, the web page shouldn't take more then a week or two to build. We'll hopfully be able to get some more webspace and bandwidth to post more media files.

Can't wait to hear some of the racing stories from Texas! They have sooooooo many fast cars that run on the street down there!!!

Laterz,

Scott

ITs good to hear from you winslow. It kinda died around here a little after you left, but i'm sure it was just shock that you really did leave . The group should keep going and make the import scene a little bigger. It will be nice of akperformance.org to get up and running. Then we'll see what will happen up here in Alaska.

Have fun and hope to see you in the future.

Word MoFo, seriously tho. In the short time that we hung out, I learned a crap load more about my cars, and cars in general. Before I am way to timid to even try my own installs, now its like "Alright give me the damn Hack-Saw"

Luke, it was cool to finally get to do some mods on a Dub. You weren't the only one to learn alot. I learned more about the 1.8t than I wanted to know. Elizabeth wants to get rid of her car and it looks like I may have talked her into an S4. I'm not sure if we can wait for the new S4. We might have to settle for an 1.8t A4.

I'm sure that when the AKperformance.org site gets established there will be an increase in members. I see more people promoting a unified site than a manufacture specific site. I wish I had more time to organize and assist in the creation. I'll be back and then it'll be ON!!!

I'm hoping to meet up with some of the members down here. It won't be as easy since everyone is spread out. I'll make sure and post the stories.

lol, no ****. Winslow was like Vin.

But yeh dude, the 1.8T A4's are nice too, they actully can slap a Ko4-23 on there direct bolt on, good for I belive 260HP, I might go with that turbo also, but there is a little more involved on the Trans Mounted engines. I still say S4, but if not the A4 1.8T is not a bad runner up

You guys are full of jokes. We'll see what my next project will be. Eric was telling me about the new turbo Trailblazer. I'll need something to tow my toys. How bouts a Lightning? The new S4 will be sweet or even the TL type-S.

I say that because I'll need a car soon and I don't think I can wait for the new S4.

Well Winslow already knows how I feel, and yet he still left for a real job instead of staying unemployed and helping me sell Subaru parts.

But I also want to thank Winslow for putting all the time and effort that I did not have to getting the Suby movement growing faster than I could have hoped. It is good that we are expanding and meeting new people.

As for Luke, its a good thing you will not hesitate to pick up a hack saw, because I will be giving you a call.

Vin Diesel......thats damn good!
